LAS VEGAS, April 15, 2015 — Interlogix, a global leader in security and life-safety solutions, is highlighting several new video recorders and intelligent IP video cameras at ISC West, April 15-17 in Las Vegas, including the TruVision® DVR 44HD (TVR 44HD), a full-featured 1080p HD-hybrid video recorder. This new recorder is capable of supporting a combination of standard analog, analog HD or IP cameras recording in real-time. Interlogix is a part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
The Truvision DVR 44HD uses HD-TVI technology to deliver IP-quality video from TruVision HD-TVI analog cameras and existing coaxial cable. Using existing cable may provide savings in labor costs, improving return on investment. It also allows the user the option to migrate easily to IP at a future date.
The TVR 44HD, available in both 8- and 16-channel models, features a drop-down front panel that provides full local recorder controls and easy access to the hard-drive array for servicing and storage expansion. A built-in Web browser and access via mobile apps allows users to stay connected while on the go.
“The TVR 44HD is a true hybrid recorder that can be deployed as an analog system. This enables a full IP video system conversion for up to 16 IP megapixel cameras,” said Mike Chiavacci, general manager, global video solutions, Lenel and Interlogix. “With its user-friendly controls, remote management capability and reliable recording, the TVR 44HD is a comprehensive solution to fit many organizations’ needs and budgets.”
Also on display, the new TruVision DVR 12HD (TVR 12HD) is a base model hybrid recorder that also uses HD-TVI technology to support both analog and IP cameras for smaller installations. The available 4-, 8- and 16-channel units can accommodate a mix of analog and IP cameras and features plug-and-play installation with many Interlogix TruVisionIP cameras.
Along with these hybrid recorders, Interlogix will introduce a full line of 720p and 1080p bullet and dome cameras, based on the same HD-TVI technology, later this summer.
A full featured, high-performance network video recorder, the Truvision NVR 21S (TVN 21S), will also be showcased. Available with up to 16 built-in PoE ports to support powering IP cameras, the TVN 21S comes in 8- and 16-channel models and features easy plug-and-play installation with TruVision IP cameras. Familiar front panel controls provide intuitive operation, as well as browser, software and mobile device management tools and easy access to the hard-drive array via the drop-down front panel. The TVR 21S is ideal for larger or networked organizations.
Three new TruVision intelligent IP camera models – each featuring advanced alarm detection – will also be displayed. Each camera includes built-in video intelligence capabilities such as face detection, cross-line, intrusion detection, de-focus, defog, electronic image stabilization and integrated motion detection. Both 1.3MPx or 3MPx models are available in bullet, dome and box form-factors. Edge recording is supported with up to 64GB using a micro SD/SDXC card for video playback. The cameras are designed to ONVIF Profile S open standards.
“We continue to enhance our growing suite of hybrid and IP video products that feature superior image quality, innovative features, ease of installation and operation, as well as backward compatibility to protect a customer’s long-term investment,” said Chiavacci.
Each of these video products will be demonstrated in the UTC Building & Industrial Systems booth #18019 and are available through authorized Lenel and Interlogix channel partners. For more information, visit www.interlogix.com or follow @Interlogix on Twitter.
